Ms. Louvenia Sawyer, 88, of Maryland, formerly of Newton Grove, passed way December 23, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memories: her sons - Dennis Sawyer, Brian Sawyer; sisters - Minnie Burton, Celestine Cheek, Jacqueline Raynor; grandchildren - Elisha Sawyer, Dominique Sawyer (Derrick Smith), Brandon Sawyer; great granddaughter - Ava Smith, daughter-in-law - Shelia Sawyer; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The public viewing will Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the White Oak Disciples of Christ Church, 130 White Oak Street, Newton Grove, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Masks are required for entrance.
The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00 am at the White Oak Disciples of Christ Church, following the facility's guidelines for seating and capacity.
Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Newton Grove.
