Ms. Ashanti Mariah Monk

Ms. Ashanti M. Monk, 19, of 110 S. Johnson St., Angier, passed away, Sunday, March 17, 2024.

Ashanti leaves to cherish her memories, her parents- Angela (D'Angelo) McCoy, of Angier NC and Jermaine Bristow, of Smithfield, NC; three brothers-  Ramaine (Malia) Monk, of Randleman, NC,  Jermir Bristow, of Dunn NC and  Dominique Jackson, of SC; two sisters- Sharmaine Monk, of Angier, NC, Jada Monk, of Angier, NC; grandmother-  Martha (Edward) Matthews, of Angier NC;  grandfather- Rudolph Brown;  four nephews- Zyler, Xalln, Nau'jour Monk and Ezra Little; special aunt- Teresa Monk; special cousin- Carmen Avilez; special friends- Zyquon Smith, Ce'drea Dooley, and Jyseim Wells; and host of aunts, uncles other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Angier, Saturday, March 23, 2024 @ 3PM, following the guidelines of the chapel for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
