Ms. Evelyn P. (Harrington) McKoy

Mrs. Evelyn P. McKoy, 75, of 194 Cypress Drive, Spring Lake, passed away, Sunday, March 10, 2024. 

Family will receive visitors at the residence of Ms. Evelyn P. Harrington McKoy, daily between hours of 12-6pm, preferably.

Evelyn leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter- Sheronda Evette McKoy Lovelace, of the home; two granddaughters- Beautiful Epiphany McKoy, of Sanford, NC and Guinnesis  M’Sante Corley, of LaGrange, GA; one great- grandson- Marliss Messiah Andrews, of the home; two dedicated sisters- Brenda H. Williams, of Sanford, NC, Sharon Annette Williams, of Sanford, NC; one brother - Johnnie L. Harrington of Sanford;  five sister-n-laws- Jennifer Harrington, of Sanford, NC, Deena Harrington, of Spring Lake, NC, Vanessa Taylor, of Spring Lake, NC, Karen Horton, of Columbia, SC and Sharon Gilmer, of Durham, NC; three brother-n-laws- Master Sergeant Kenneth Taylor of Spring Lake, NC, Deacon Fredrick L. Williams, of Sanford, NC, and William Gilmer, Durham, NC; two aunts- Margaret (Becky) Johnson, of Southern Pines, NC, and Martha Jane McGhee, of  New Rochelle, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be at the Dafford Funeral Home, Angier, Monday, March 18, 2024 from 1PM - 5PM.  Masks are required for entrance.

Public viewing will be held at Simon Temple AMEZ Church, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 11AM-11:55AM. Family will be present @ 11:30AM.

The Celebration of Life Service will follow @ 12PM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Simon Temple AMEZ Church Cemetery, Fayetteville.
