Rev. James Leggett

Rev. James Leggett, 83, of 908 N. Magnolia Avenue, Dunn, passed away September 19, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter - Evangelist Rebecca Leggett of Dunn;  son - Gary Leggett (Christina) of Dunn; a very special nephew he treated like a son - Glenn Worney, Sr.; daughters-in-law - Minister La’Wanda Leggett and Vivian Leggett both of Dunn; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; sisters - Ella Mae Robinson, Elizabeth Lloyd and Annie Alford all of Dunn; Daisy L. Jones of Greensboro; brothers - Larry Alford of Dunn, Namon Williams (Mary) of Winston Salem; two special cousins - Janet Chambers (Lester) and Roberta Crawford of Durham; sister-in-law - Gertie McAllister; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

The public viewing will be Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Masks are required to enter.

The graveside service will be conducted Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn. Masks are required.
