Rosa A. Maynard

Ms. Rosa A. Maynard, 79, of 35 Patterson Street, Lillington, passed away November 25, 2022. Affectionately known as Roseanne, she had her struggles but lived life to the fullest and always knew how to make you smile.  She was a member of Lillington First Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed teaching Sunday School, singing in the Adult Choir, and attending services until she was no longer able to do so.  She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

Roseanne is survived by:  her son - Charles Shehee (Kathy); her brothers - Samuel Maynard and Billy Joe Maynard (Taffie); her sisters - Lucy Richardson and Patsy Ruth Musaddig; her grandson - Cedrick Spears; her nephews - Carlos and Cedric Maynard; her devoted cousin - Tina Penny Smith (Michael), and a host of other relatives and friends, including her best friend - Doris Murchison.  She was preceded in death by her mother - Easter Maynard, father - Joe Maynard, daughter - Annette Nicholson, and her favorite aunt - Rev. Dr. Queen Penny.

There are no events planned, as it was Roseanne's wish to have only a private service for family and friends, but we do appreciate your love and support during this difficult time.
